Pegasus Prints was founded by Alison Sahmel in 2019.

Sahmel began her career at Pace Prints as a Chromist and Printer.  She later moved to Two Palms for 10 years and collaborated with Chuck Close, Mel Bochner, Cecily Brown, Elizabeth Peyton, Terry Winters, Chris Ofili, Peter Doig, David Row among others. Most recently,  Ali has worked on projects with: Nate Lowman, Lucien Smith, John Newsom and Ella Kruglyanskaya.

As a Master Chromist, Sahmel has the expertise in deconstructing an image and  seamlessly constructing it back within any medium.  She has hand drawn mylars for two Chuck Close Silkscreens and countless other projects.

Pegasus Prints is a full service Fine Art Silkscreen Studio with a stockpile of screens varying in sizes, and a rainbow assortment of oil and water-based inks.  Pegasus has a semi automatic Viking screen press and manual screen press that can print up to 60" x  90" images.

We print on paper, but can print on canvas, wood, plastic, mirrors, metal, and most substrates.
